Book Now… The Beauty Queen of Leenane
12/07/2011
Martin McDonagh’s THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE was such a success that it’s returning for a second run at the Young Vic one year on. The Observer’s Killian Fox had high praise:
McDonagh makes witty play with Irish stereotypes, but beneath the exaggerated speech and the cliches lies a depth of feeling and a psychological acuity less evident in his recent output. This is indeed a nasty piece of work, but exquisitely so, and dreadfully funny.
